Geographical Location



Germany official name “Federal Republic of Germany” with an area of 3,57,021 sq. km. Germany’s climates is unique temperate and marine, with cold, cloudy, wet winters and moderate warm summers. The location of Germany is at the heart of Europe lies in the west-central. It borders 9 neighbours, more than any other European country. Germany has been called the “Land of Poets and Thinkers”. It is widely famous in all forms of art and night life. Germany is the most populous nation in the European Union with some 81.2 million inhabitants, A good 16.4 million people in Germany have a migratory background. It is now among those nation with the most liberal immigration rules.
Germany is highly developed country with high Human Development Index (HDI) and Gross Domestic Production (GDP) 4th in world respectively, making it an excellent option for work opportunities too, both whilst studying and afterwards as a graduate. German automobile industry is regarded as the most competitive, innovative and famous in the world with its renowned cars like – BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Audi. All the above mention factors make Germany most favourable place to live-in and studies.

States and Territories

Germany is a Federal Republic Consisting of sixteen federal states, it was formed from an earlier collection of several states, federal constitutions, and the constituent states retain a measure of sovereignty. Time Zone

Germany uses only one primary time zone. The time zone in Germany is central European Time (CET) UTC +1 is used as standard time, while central European summer time (CEST) UTC +2 is observed when daylight saving time is in force.

Private universities from Germany are financed from tuition fees, so some international students will have to pay between € 3,000 - € 12,000 (EUR/year)
